The
Piegan Institute is a private 501 (c)(3) nonprofit chartered on
October 9, l987 in the State of Montana to research, promote and
preserve Native American Languages. It is based on the Blackfeet
Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana. All founding members,
and board of directors, are enrolled members of the Blackfeet
Tribe.
All contributions to the Institute are fully deductible under
the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations for charitable
contributions. The contributions go directly to a teacher/student
learning environment for the teaching of the Blackfoot Language
to children. No contributions are utilized for administration,
subsequent fundraising, or unrelated activities outside of the
teaching the language.
All contributions will be acknowledged with a receipt based on
IRS guidelines. Piegan Institute does not publish, sell, or exchange donor names and addresses with any other organizations.
